About Us

Global Pacific Environmental Incorporated is a contracting
firm with 15 years experience in the abatement of:

Abatement of Regulated Materials
Asbestos insulation and lead based paints are the most common
obstacles to industrial and marine maintenance, facility renovations
and building/structural demolition. Scheduling and budgeting these
removals is critical to the success of affected projects.

Regulated asbestos-containing materials and Category II non-Friable asbestos-containing materials are removed prior to general demolition under very specific Occupational Safety &Health Administration (OSHA and environmental (Federal EPA, Oregon DEQ , Washington APCA) regulation.

Airborne lead exposure to workers is strictly regulated by OSHA and state plan equivalents. The recent regulation has imposed additional burdens – exposure assessment monitoring, respiratory protection, medical surveillance and hazard communication – on owners and contractors. Lead is most often found in paints and coatings, but is also common in mineral wool insulation, mortars, stained glass windows, soldering, and cast iron drain pipe.

In addition to lead paints and other coatings
frequently contain asbestos, arsenic and
Cadmium all of which are regulated.

Global Pacific has the experience, qualified manpower, equipment and programs necessary to abate regulated materials prior to planned renovation or demolition in conjunction with maintenance activities. We manage these regulated wastes and debris from “cradle to grave” in the most cost efficient manner feasible by knowing the pertinent regulations, planning and by communication with other affected companies and workers.
